For the past 10 years, the Limestone County Empty Bowls Project has focused on bringing people together to raise awareness and funds to fight hunger in our community. Through a simple meal and a handcrafted pottery bowl, participants are reminded that while hunger is real – so is our ability to help.
We invite you to join us for the 2026 Athens-Limestone Empty Bowls Luncheon on February 27 at Revival – First Presbyterian Church. Ticket holders receive two servings of soup, bread, and a handmade pottery bowl. Tickets are $20 and available from committee members, the church offices at First Presbyterian, Athens First Methodist, First Baptist, and online via Square:
All proceeds are donated to local food pantries, hunger relief organizations and homeless advocacy groups.
